Service Manager – Liaison and Diversion
“When you choose to join us, you’re choosing more than just a job…. you’re choosing to make a difference.”
We are currently looking to build our teams, with some newly created opportunities within the North East.
Led by Tees, Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust (TEWV), Humankind and Spectrum Community Health CIC provide Liaison and Diversion services across County Durham, Darlington and Cleveland Police Force.
The all age liaison and diversion service will offer assessment, advice and support for people who come into contact with the criminal justice system and are experiencing mental health problems, have a learning disability or other complex needs. The service will also support staff within the criminal justice system with advice and signposting.
As Service Manager you will lead on the delivery of community-based through-care and follow-up, including peer support engagement, to ensure people are able to access and engage with local services and resources to meet their individual needs.
In addition, you will also provide line management support and maintain positive relationships in an exciting new partnership led by St Giles Trust and The Wise Group with the aim of supporting females serving community sentences or being released from prison.
