Because of the personal journeys of our Directors with their own successful recovery stories, their desire to work with others seeking permanent change has always been the primary factor.
“We want to generate long lasting recovery for our residents in an industry that seems to focus on many other outside issues but can often miss the fundamentals of what it takes to simply stop and stay stopped. We want to create a facility that you only visit once, and not create a revolving door attitude of repeat customers. I believe it is in our own interests to manifest success stories from our previous residents, as our best source of tomorrows clients will come from the happy customers of today.”
Surrounded by deep green rainforests with landscaped gardens, The PARC affords you the peace and tranquillity to focus on your challenges with the hands-on support of our experienced and dedicated staff, in a safe and comfortable space.
The PARC provides a secure place to discover and appreciate recovery from your challenges. Whether this is your first experience of rehab, or maybe you’ve experienced one before, we believe our 12 step approach to treatment will give you the absolute best opportunity to create long-term successful rehabilitation.
To achieve this, we operate a Mind, Body & Spirit attitude towards the holistic recovery process, utilizing various therapeutic techniques such as CBT and ACT to accompany the proven 12 Step Program, mixed with various healing and wellness techniques. We deliver a program that’s been proven to be highly effective in treating addictive disease and related behavioural problems.
begins with a thorough assessment and detox needs are addressed. Once the substance has left the body, clients benefit from intensive one-on-one and group activities, which helps them understand how addiction affects the mind and body. In this highly therapeutic environment, clients develop coping techniques, build confidence, identify triggers and address various blocks and issues that frequently accompany addiction. Family involvement is often considered as a critical aspect of primary treatment.
Is a huge part of primary addiction treatment and allows clients to get to the root of their problems with addiction and decide upon the necessary steps to take moving forward.
allows clients to continue working closely with a counselor as they address psychological and emotional issues in greater depth and begin to understand the behaviours that lead to addiction.
It usually lasts one to six months, and is useful for individuals who need help learning to navigate daily life without substances.
They learn the importance of accountability and responsibility and gradually regain more control of their lives. Secondary treatment usually lasts one to three months.
The first few weeks or months after leaving residential treatment can be challenging. Utilising support and resources such as ‘Sober Living’ is a healthy choice.
and is an alcohol and drug-free environment where residents can practice what they’ve been shown in treatment and learn to maintain their sobriety. Through peer support, proven recovery principles, peer empowerment, and individual responsibility, residents can solidify their sobriety and prepare to return home or live independently.
The PARC Sober Living is for people who are in early recovery from drug or alcohol addiction.
Research has discovered that communal living can significantly reduce the risk of relapse back into substance abuse. It can also help individuals hone their coping skills, learn how to communicate effectively, and learn to trust themselves and others. It is also often reassuring for significant others to know that their loved one is remaining in a safe environment during early recovery.
The primary rule of Sober Living is just what one would guess: staying sober. If someone drinks or uses drugs while living with us, they violate the most important rule and may be asked to leave. However, admitting to relapse and being open and honest could earn a resident a second chance. They may have certain liberties suspended, given additional support, and then allowed to stay – if they’re genuinely willing to remain sober and clean.
Our minimum stay is 28 days, though most of our Residents stay for 2 months. Some people commit to our full 12-week program, which we believe is the optimal amount of time to spend in rehab.
We also offer Sober Living supported accommodation, this is for individuals who have already completed treatment (with us or elsewhere) and are looking for a safe, structured and recovery focused environment that offers support.
We’re priced at a rate that is competitive around the world and permits us to serve as many families as possible, but without compromising on our great standards of care and comfort. We hope that we’re able to work with you and your budget. Please speak to us to discuss your situation and we’ll do our best to accommodate your specific requirements.
