Services Manager - Peterborough

Salary: £42,722.79 to £44,611.95 per annum plus *Recruitment and Retention Allowance
Location: Newcastle, United Kingdon

Change, grow, live is a health and social care charity, working with individuals, families and communities affected by substance misuse, crime, homelessness, domestic abuse and anti-social behaviour.

*This role currently attracts a CGL Recruitment & Retention Allowance details of which would be discussed at the point an offer of employment is made.

The Services Manager will be expected to have demonstrable experience in the strategic management and leadership of integrated substance misuse services and to be able to evidence excellent partnership working and relationship management skills with diverse partners. In addition, the successful candidate will be required to demonstrate the ability to manage n a multi-disciplinary team and be experienced in complex budget management.

The post holder will also oversee the Cambridge Outreach Service as part of their Services Manager responsibilities.

CGL provided drug services in Peterborough since 2009 and began to provide all drug and alcohol services for adults, young people and families on 1 April 2016.  Our model presents service users and their families with clearly defined pathways for nondependent and dependent drinkers, opiate and non-opiate users.  Within CGL these pathways and our recovery co-ordination models are proven to increase recovery rates by providing a greater number of recovery focused interventions within communities which meet the specific needs of service users.  

The successful candidate’s remit is to create an outcome focussed recovery culture and provide a constant stimulus for improving services in a learning environment.

The successful candidate will be required to work flexibly across operational sites as required and work flexibly within an agreed number of hours to maintain the most appropriate level of service provision.  This will include evening and weekend working.

The post holder will have core responsibility to manage, monitor and develop the sub-contracted partnerships ensuring clear and effective communication and accountability is in place along with effective governance and performance against agreed targets and outcomes.
