Phoenix Individual Retreat offers a place of sanctuary and safety, a place for people to recover, to re-build and to restore physical and mental health and well-being. Our bespoke treatment programs are delivered entirely one-to-one, with an entire team of practitioners and support workers at your service. No groups, no shared facilities.

Each client enjoys their own exclusive and luxurious villa accommodation in the warmth of the Spanish sunshine, including a personal butler/chef and offering complete and assured anonymity. Put simply, we offer a complete retreat from the pressures and strains of everyday life.

Phoenix Individual Retreat was born from a single-minded vision: to provide clients with the most luxurious, confidential and effective treatment for addiction and other disorders. The Phoenix Programme was created as a result of our shared commitment to the highest standards of care and our shared frustration at current treatment provision, which all too often is driven by a ‘one size fits all’ approach rather than a response to individual client needs. Living at the Phoenix Individual Retreat

There is no more a ‘typical’ day at the Phoenix Individual Retreat than there is a typical ‘client’. That is because each guest will be following their own Phoenix Pathway which will have been designed exclusively for them, based on a detailed analysis of their medical and psychological history.  However, what every day has in common is that it is another step on the journey to a happier and more fulfilled life.

Every client’s Phoenix Pathway is unique and the pace of their journey is set by their individual needs and preferences.

However every journey at Phoenix will involve a range of therapies and treatments, all designed to complement each other and treat the mind, body and soul.

The Phoenix Programme

For clients struggling with misuse or addiction disorders, the Phoenix Programme will lie at the heart of their treatment. Such is the paradox of addiction that it is only through complete surrender and an acceptance of defeat that individuals can find strength. And it is only by accepting the loss of their old life that they can begin the process of building a new, happier and more fulfilling one.
This idea lies at the heart of the Phoenix Programme, which is the culmination of decades of experience, working with thousands of clients suffering the misery of addiction and helping them build new lives beyond their wildest imaginations. Its purpose is to allow people to leave their old habits and behaviours behind them and to emerge from treatment with a new outlook and all the tools they need to live a life freed from their former problems.

Many people suffering from addiction or similar psychological disorders find that they experience feelings of unease, even when there appears to be no immediate cause. These negative feelings will often continue to persist even when the addictive behaviour (such as abusing alcohol, drugs or gambling) is removed. This is why medical treatment alone can never provide the full solution. The Phoenix Programme is a unique treatment methodology which can be tailored to the specific needs of each and every client, depending on their particular problems, culture, faith or medical situation.

It is based around a core 7 Stage programme, which clients are gently guided through during their stay at the Phoenix Individual Retreat. However, it is not a passive treatment programme and clients work hard on themselves during their time at the Retreat. At times it will be challenging, although the reward is priceless: a complete change in their thinking – affecting mind, body and spirit – allowing them to live an on-going life free from all mind-altering substances or behaviours.

Clients continue to follow the Phoenix Programme long after they have left the Retreat and our comprehensive Aftercare package ensures that they have all the tool and strategies they need to continue their recovery once they return to the challenges and distractions of everyday life.

However, re-engaging with the outside world can be a very dangerous time which is why we offer one of the most comprehensive aftercare packages in the world, to ensure that clients continue their recovery journey long after leaving the Retreat.

Taking the first step

On any journey, the first step is often the most important but can also be the most daunting. From the very first contact with the Phoenix team – whether directly by the client or by someone else on their behalf – discretion and sensitivity are guaranteed. We will listen carefully and respectfully, asking questions in a sensitive manner to help us to design the most appropriate bespoke treatment programme. We will then prepare a comprehensive report outlining the proposed treatment programme – the Phoenix Pathway – together with a full schedule of costs and a confidentiality agreement if required.

Treatment costs

Each client’s journey to recovery is as individual as they are and we do not offer ‘off the peg’ treatment solutions. All our treatment plans are completely bespoke and based upon a thorough assessment of each client’s medical and psychological needs as well as their own particular preferences or requirements. As part of the admissions process, we prepare a comprehensive report – the Phoenix Pathway – which contains full information on proposed treatment plans and services, together with a full breakdown of costs.
