The Pineapple
A sprawling white ranch house with a wraparound porch and old-Florida charm, the Pineapple provides lodging for five residents and a staff office. Residents step through the French doors in the living room to find a covered patio with slate tile, a comfortable spot with ample seating for outdoor meals or group meetings. This one-level home is easy to navigate for the older client or anyone who may have trouble with stairs.

The Palm
Full of spacious rooms and walk-in closets, the two-story Palm residence is a great place for men to begin their transition into a healthy life of recovery. The downstairs includes an office area where the residents can work on their resumes and check their email. The brick and coquina patio and the pool behind the Palm residence create an ideal setting for Sunday barbecues. The large balcony off the master suite offers a spectacular view of the night sky with minimal light pollution.

The Bungalow
A short walking distance from the Pineapple and Palm rests the peaceful Bungalow, our senior residence. A resident manager who lives in the guest cottage, directly behind this three-bedroom home, works closely with the men who call the Bungalow home, all of whom have completed their initial, three-month commitment at the Sanctuary. Being three city blocks from our two main homes, the Bungalow is far enough removed to afford its inhabitants a feeling of separation yet close enough for them to retain the support of the Palm and Pineapple residents.

At the Sanctuary we provide a safe, structured environment where men can flourish in early recovery. With random drug screening and 24-hour staff supervision, our facility offers the consistency and accountability that our clients need. With a total of 15 beds in three houses, the Sanctuary is small enough that our staff can give residents the attention they deserve, yet large enough to offer a community experience.

Aside from 24-hour supervision, our clients attend daily morning meditation as well as weekly group education and are offered case management services such as job placement assistance, referrals to outside professionals as needed, assistance with transportation, and access to a library of Twelve Step oriented videos and reading materials.

The Sanctuary in Delray Beach raises the bar from the conventional halfway house experience and sets a new standard for men's transitional living. It's a place that can be fittingly described as a home. Amenities include a swimming pool, membership at a local fitness center, a billiards table (no gambling is allowed), high-speed internet access, and satellite television.

Our homes are tastefully decorated and fully furnished. Residents at the Sanctuary are provided linens, towels, paper products, and cleaning supplies. Each client is expected to pick up after himself and to keep his surroundings organized and free of clutter. Time is set aside each week for the clients to clean the houses as a group. A housekeeping crew performs a deep cleaning of the homes twice a month.
