The expert staff provide a comprehensive program including individual sessions, group/family counselling, relapse prevention, recreation, spiritual exploration, 12 step philosophy, life coaching, yoga, musical and artistic expression, and aftercare planning.

Recovery:42 day core residential program
Robust, individualized program to achieve sobriety, serenity and a healthy life balance. Heal in mind, body and spirit. Experience transformative change. Miracles really do happen!

Extended Care: Customized durations (up to 3 months)
Reinforcement of recovery behaviour & lifestyle. Many guests choose to extend their recovery stay to solidify their gains and deal more completely with underlying issues. Enhance your serenity and probability of long-term sobriety.

Individual Sessions: An integral part of the 42-day residential program. Everyone deserves to have the opportunity to address individual issues with dignity, compassion, and privacy. Each guest at A Home Away is treated as an individual with the right for self determination and with trust in the capacity to learn, heal and grow.

Breathing Easy

A Home Away is proud to introduce Breathing Easy, our highly effective, customized smoking cessation program offered to guests that smoke.
There is no better time to contemplate stopping smoking than when surrounded by such a caring, supportive staff and environment. Studies show that alcohol and other drug sobriety rates are significantly improved when smokers also stop smoking during primary treatment. If you’ve ever thought of stopping smoking, this is your time! We know how and will help you with no pressure.

Bridging the Gap AFTERCARE: Your 42 day program with us is the beginning of a joyous life of the freedom from addiction. We support you in developing an aftercare program and support structures as you transition from A Home Away to help you maintain and grow your recovery.
